Scenes for the historical mini-series, “The Men who Built America” will be filmed along German St. between Princess and King streets in the business district of Shepherdstown from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.

According to a statement from Rebecca Stair, location manager of the film, additional filming and schedule changes could occur.

The sidewalk in front of all businesses will be kept open, and foot traffic will not be affected.

All street barricades will be manned and deliveries accommodated.

The film crew is working in full cooperation of the Corporation of Shepherdstown, the West Virginia Film Office and the Shepherdstown Fire and Police Departments.

According to the statement, the crew will do “everything possible” to minimize disturbances to local businesses.
