The Shepherd University Department of History is sponsoring a tour on World War I battle sites from Friday, March 9 to Sunday, March 18, 2012. The tour will include the crash sites, airfields and burial grounds of famous World War I flyers, including American, French and German aces. Important sites such as Belleau Wood, the Somme, the Argonne Forest and the Monfaucon American Memorial will be visited.

The price of the tour is $2,850 for double occupancy and includes airfare, most meals, expert tour guides and deluxe coach ground transportation. Single rooms are available for an extra fee. Final payment should be made in full by Jan. 27, 2012.
