Trinity gets in holiday spirit

By Staff | Nov 25, 2011

As a part of Christmas in Shepherdstown and the kickoff of Shepherdstown’s 250th Anniversary Celebration, Trinity Episcopal Church at the corner of German and Church Streets will again have a live nativity in the church yard Saturday, Nov. 26 at 6, 7 and 8 p.m.

The live nativity will be part of the Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m.

The scene will also be presented at noon, 1, 6, 7 and 8 p.m. that day. Come and experience the true meaning of the Christmas season.

Want someone else to help you with your holiday baking and do some shopping for unique gifts? The Trinity Episcopal Youth will be having a Cookie Walk and a Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Come see the live nativity and then go to the Fellowship Hall to warm up with hot chocolate or coffee. Enjoy the cupcake decorating activity as you eat the award-winning barbeque sandwiches that will be for sale.

Homemade cookies will be packaged for you to eat then or take with you for eating later, then wander through the festive bazaar tables and pick out just the right gift for that special person in your family.

If you should have any questions, please call the church office at 304-876-6990.
