Shepherdstown’s Harmony Healing Arts Center announced that its Winter Yoga Session would begin on Jan. 2, 2012.

“This will begin Harmony’s sixth year of serving the Shepherdstown community and we look forward to many more years to come,” said Harmony co-director Terry Lindsay in a press release.

Harmony’s 11-week winter program lineup will offer a variety of yoga classes meant to foster health, healing and balanced living. One new class this session is called After-5 Yoga, held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:40 p.m. It is designed to help release chronic tension and stretch and strengthen the muscles after a full workday. Harmony invites everyone in the community to take a look at the variety of yoga classes offered at the studio come January 2012.

The Winter Yoga Session is 11 weeks long, Jan. 2 to March 17, 2012. There are classes every day of the week. Students can register for a single class or purchase a class pass for unlimited class access. Gift certificates are available for purchase now at the studio and all who register for the Winter Session before Dec. 27, 2011 receive $5 off their registration fee.
