Last weekend’s Relay for Life event at Shepherd University raised almost $60,000 for the American Cancer Society.

“More money is coming in each day and we will continue to move toward our goal of $68,000. The event went very smoothly and I could not be more proud of the committee for planning a great family-friendly event! The rain held out for our Torch Run and Lumniaria ceremony and we were thanking our lucky stars!” said Rachel Crum, Community Services and Service Learning Coordinator and organizer for the event.
