Shepherdstown Community Club to host dinner and music night
SHEPHERDSTOWN — Make your reservation for dinner and music at the Shepherdstown Community Club located at 102 E. German Street at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door and the menu will feature Moroccan Lamb Stew with tomato, carrots, butternut squash, apricots, prunes, raisins, garbanzo beans and almonds all nicely spiced to evoke the flavors of North African cuisine with a salad, a green and a dessert to top off our culinary feast for the holidays (by Carol Sanders of Real Good Food). A vegetarian option is available.
Then, an evening of music will commence with Shepherdstown’s Chelsea McBee, a recording artist, singer and banjo player .
“Chelsea has one of the most amazing voices in music today” writes one reviewer. “When most of the ‘mainstream’ Nashville artists are throwing out … one-dimensional songs, Chelsea is doing the complete opposite … her songs have meaning, texture, and emotion.” And, from the Observer: “Chelsea’s voice is like listening to eight different colors at once.”
Make your reservation by the end of the day Dec. 17 with carol.ann.sanders1@gmail.com or 304-283-9039. If you need to cancel your reservation please do so by December 17 so we have an accurate count for dinner preparations. Request a vegetarian option when making your reservation.
