Steve M. Housden
Steve Michael Housden, 62, of Bunker Hill, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility, Kearneysville.
Born Nov. 8, 1955, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Carlton Lee Housden and Mazie (Franks) Housden.
Mr. Housden was a self employed contractor.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Shenandoah Junction Community Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica F. Kretzer and husband, Max, of Bunker Hill; six grandchildren; two sisters, Lena M. Hensley, of Georgia and Dorothy M. Terry, of Alabama; six brothers, David L. Housden, of Shenandoah Junction, Larry Gene Housden, of Slanesville, Don G. Housden, of Shenandoah Junction, Kenneth M. Housden, of Slanesville, Bobby R. Housden, of Inwood and Roger B. Housden, of Clarksburg; and close family friend, Carol Blumenthal, of Martinsburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Dodson Housden, who died April 14, 2010; one sister, Mary C. Migliorise; and three brothers, Richard G. Housden, James O. Housden and Freddie M. Housden.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, with Pastor David Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.
Friends were scheduled to be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
