By Staff | Nov 22, 2019

CHARLES TOWN — Jefferson County Parks and Recreation was the recipient of the Eugene F. Fuller Award for programming for the third consecutive year. This year’s award was presented to the Let’s Play! Mobile Recreation unit that debuted in May 2019. The van has made more than 40 stops around the county, bringing recreation to areas that may not be able to take part otherwise. The Jefferson County Commission recognized the efforts of the Parks department at a recent meeting. Shown, from left, are Commissioners Josh Compton, Ralph Lorenzetti, Patsy Noland, Parks Director Jennifer Myers, Pubic Relations staffer Becki Zaglifa, Jefferson County Commissioner Caleb Hudson and Jefferson County Commissioner Jane Tabb.
