Street named in honor of Jefferson County Parks and Recreation director

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION — Jennifer Myers, director of Jefferson County Parks and Recreation, holds a new street sign bearing her name. The roadway, now named in honor of Myers’ 20 years with the department, marks the entrance into James Hite Park, the county’s newest park located in Kearneysville. The sign was presented to Myers at a holiday gathering Monday evening, but will be posted at its location at James Hite Park later this month.
