SHEPHERDSTOWN — Coordinated by the Parrish Health Ministry, St. Agnes Catholic Church’s flu vaccine clinic is held every fall, at the beginning of flu season. The clinic was opened up on Saturday for community participation for the first time this year. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic raising health consciousness, the event’s participation rate was higher than in the two previous years it has been held, drawing over a dozen participants in its first half hour. With most insurance providers, the flu shot is free, and can be administered at most local pharmacies, including Shepherdstown Pharmacy.
