Christ Reformed United Church of Christ's processional cross, though clearly asymmetrical, has been in constant use by the church for more than 100 years. According to Rev. Gayle Bach-Watson, this is not an oversight by the church leaders, but rather a way to showcase the devotion of the cross' carver, Rev. William Anderman. Anderman, who was often asked to fill in at the pulpit when the CRUCC's regular minister was away, carved it, though he was completely blind. Tabitha Johnston
