SHEPHERDSTOWN — Shepherdstown resident Anna Kent, right, greets passersby as Girl Scout Troop 15006 members Gabrielle Orr, middle, and Lizzy Gorsuch, who are both in the sixth grade at Shepherdstown Middle School, sell cookies in front of the Market House on Saturday afternoon. They advertised possible Girl Scout cookie and wine pairings at the table, which included: Thin Mints with merlot or Syrah; Tagalongs with Malbec; Samoas with rose; S’mores with chardonnay; Adventurefuls with port or port wine; Raspberry Rally with pinot noir; Toffeetastic with cabernet sauvignon; Lemon Ups with Albarino; and Trefoils with sparkling wines. The troop, which meets at Trinity Episcopal Church, began selling cookies earlier this month.
