After 34 years serving the community, The Shepherdstown Chronicle will cease publication at the end of December. The last issue will be printed and distributed the week of Dec. 22.

The Shepherdstown Chronicle’s coverage and service to the community, however, will continue. Stories and community news from Shepherdstown and the region will be published in the print and digital versions of The Journal. Online, news from Shepherdstown is collected on a dedicated page, which can be accessed at Journal-News.net/Shepherdstown. And events from Shepherdstown can be found in The Journal’s regional calendar, at Journal-news.net/events.

Chronicle subscriptions will be converted to subscriptions to The Journal on a pro-rated basis.
