Shepherdstown School of Dance is excited to announce a new summer schedule, including two weeks of evening classes (Monday through Friday, July 11 through 22 for ages 8-18) and two weeks of intensive pre-professional level study for students age 10-18 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., July 25 through Aug.5).

Evening class schedule:

5-6:30 (July 11 through 15 only) ages 8-10

6:30-8:30 (July 11 through 22) ages 10-18

The intensive program is a new offering for students 10 through 18 with at least two years of focused dance training.

The objective is to maximize each student’s progress through study of technique, alignment, artistry and expression, resulting in greater joy and confidence in the art of classical dance, as well as improved performance quality.

Tuition for the Summer Intensive is $500 for two weeks, or $325 for one week. Evening classes are $250 for two weeks, or $175 for one week.

Registration forms and payment are due by June 15. Registrations received after June 15 are subject to a $15 registration fee.
