Registration begins Jan. 23 for classes offered by Craftworks at Cool Spring. New offerings include Art After School for students ages six through nine. Sheri Fiolek will teach this six-week series designed for the budding artist who just can’t get enough art. Participants will experiment in paint, pastels, collage and pencil. They will also learn about famous artists and art styles while creating their own artistic masterpieces. A $5 material fee is payable to the instructor the first day of class. Classes will meet on Mondays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

For those students between the ages of 10 and 13, Fiolek will offer Art After School that will focus on the serious artist who wants to learn new styles and techniques and bring them to the next level in art. The six-week series will allow students to learn from the masters and have fun while doing it. A variety of mediums will be available in which students can experiment and create some frame-able art. A $5 material fee is payable to the instructor the first day of class.
