Gallery exhibit to honor artist

By Staff | Feb 24, 2012

The Bridge Gallery is hosting an exhibit of paintings and drawings by Timothy Kamer on Saturday Mar. 3, from 12-6 p.m. This special one day exhibit and sale will honor the memory of this talented young artist who was tragically killed in an accident only weeks before he would have received his Masters Degree in Art.

Kamer graduated from Jefferson High School, Class of 1993 and from Shepherd University with a degree in English, Class of 2000. Most recently he had been studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Calif.

He had been a regular exhibitor at The Bridge Gallery and the gallery is proud to offer friends and family the opportunity to purchase one of his artworks. There will be paintings in a variety of styles; figurative, landscape and still life, along with a wonderful assortment of drawings available. All proceeds from this sale will go to his son, William Kamer.
