Event to help ASB program
On Saturday, March 10 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The Shepherdstown Community Club will host an evening to benefit Shepherd University students who are participating in this year’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Trip.
These students are raising funds to cover the cost of their trip to North Carolina where they will be volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
The club is sponsoring an evening of big band music by the Star Spangled Big Band from Frederick, Md. and specialized cheese selections presented by Chef Scott Anderson, associate director for Shepherd University Dining Services and ambassador to Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. The cost is $15 per person. Reservations not required. Attendants must be 21 years or older to attend.
