Animal Welfare Society to hold an Easter Flower fundraiser

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will have its annual Easter flower sale from 2 to 6 p.m. April 6 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 7 at Domino’s Pizza in Shepherdstown. There will be a large variety of plants including: geraniums, hyacinths, tulips, hydrangeas, daffodils, mums, lilies, azaleas, mini roses, hanging baskets and much more. AWS merchandise will be available, also. Support local animal shelters and enjoy some beautiful flowers. The Animal Welfare Society is celebrating its 60th anniversary serving the community. The no-kill shelter is located on Old Leetown Pike just past the Jefferson County fairgrounds.
