Peep Show coming back

By Staff | Mar 30, 2012

The second annual Shepherdstown “Peep Show” will be offered by Creative Community on April 14 in the evening 7:30 to 10 p.m. and on April 15 beginning at 10 a.m.

This events are a fabulous opportunity designed for the artistic community to bring children, fine artists and humorists into the creative even ground of dioramas featuring marshmallow peeps. The creations can celebrate great literature, deep ideas and play on words and design.

The first annual peep show was a delight for all. Children and family creations celebrated creativity and community and the amazing detailed work of some local artists beat out any creations featured in the Washington D.C. peep show.

Last years show featured Peepahontas, Omlet (Hamlet) Peep Lake (Swan Lake) and a family creation of the Trojan wars with a large peep horse and the battalions of bunnies. Google “Peep Show” to help get ideas for the event. All one needs is a box, some chick or bunny peeps and ideas.

Entry is by donation to cover the cost of the site. A five dollar offering to enter the show is requested for the same reason, but not essential to entry and should not be a reason for a child, family or spontaneous entry not to happen.
