FOSL seeks donations for its spring book sale

By Staff | Apr 13, 2012

The Friends of the Shepherdstown Library (FOSL) are once again seeking books for their annual spring book sale, which will be held May 12 and 13.

They are collecting most kinds of books-fiction and nonfiction, adults’ and children’s. However, encyclopedias, Readers Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, computer manuals and magazines cannot be accepted.

All proceeds from the book sale will support the programs of the Shepherdstown Public Library.

FOSL would prefer that book donors hold their volumes for the time being and then bring them to the War Memorial (Community Club) Building at King and German streets in Shepherdstown on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday before the sale (May 7-10).

However, donors who cannot wait until then or who need their books picked up may call or e-mail Larry Blash at 304-876-2924 or larryblash@frontier.com.
