Spring dance classes for children and adults offered

Goose Route Arts Collaborative is pleased to offer the spring session of dance classes for children and adults beginning April 18. All classes will be taught by Kitty Clark at the Shepherdstown Train Station.

“Meant to Move,” for ages 5-8, meets Wednesdays, April 18-May 30, from 4:30-5:45 pm. This class for boys and girls introduces fundamental dance technique while encouraging kids to discover new ways of moving and to invent their own dances. The cost is $63.

“Mini Movers,” for ages 3-5, meets Wednesdays, April 18-May 30, from 5:15-5:45 pm. Boys and girls explore moving through space, become other creatures and challenges themselves to try other things, all with a variety of music to stimulate imaginations. The cost is $45.

“Modern Dance Technique,” for adults and teens, meets Wednesdays, May 2-June 6, from 6-7:15 pm. This class gets all movers, from beginning to experienced, stretching, strengthening, expressing themselves and experiencing the joy of moving with others in this challenging but fun mixed-level class. The cost is $75 if registered by May 1; $85 if registered after May 1.
