The Friends of the Shepherdstown Library (FOSL) will hold their annual spring book sale this Mother’s Day weekend, May 11-13. Large numbers of books for adults and children, both fiction and non-fiction, will be on sale at bargain prices. All proceeds will benefit library programs.

The sale will be held at the War Memorial Building (Community Club), at the corner of German and King streets. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 13.

For those who want to get a jump on the regular sale hours, there will be a wine and cheese reception at the War Memorial Building from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 11. Admission to the reception will be $10 per person. Those who attend may purchase books at that time. Again, all proceeds are for library activities. No admission will be charged on Saturday or Sunday.
