As part of the observance of Shepherdstown’s 250th anniversary, plaques will be installed at the historical Lutheran and Christ Reform Church cemeteries 340 East German Street at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5. Between these two cemeteries, there are graves of nineteen Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots.

This event is sponsored by the Pack Horse Ford Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolutions (DAR) and the General Adam Stephen Chapter of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolutions (SAR).

A reception will follow the ceremony.
