EMS/Open House Day

The Shepherdstown Fire Department is hosting an Open House in celebration of National Emergency Medical Services on Sunday, May 20, from 1 top 5 p.m. There will be plenty of activities for all!

The adults of the community can enjoy: fingerprint kits for their children, vital signs taken; including blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar and information on heart attacks, stroke and high blood pressure.

The children can enjoy: meeting the character Spongebob and Sparky the Fire Dog, balloons, safety information and activity books.There will also be activities for everyone to enjoy: tours of the fire trucks and ambulances, free hot dogs and soda, information about how you can help your community by volunteering with the Shepherdstown Fire Department, and if the children are between the ages of 16 18 they can find out about our junior firefighter program!
