Fundraiser to aid Medical Reserve Corps
Recycling fundraiser will help to fund activities for the Eastern Panhandle Medical Reserve Corps (EP-MRC). EP-MRC is collecting empty ink cartridges, cell phones, small electronics and laptops from the community in order to send the waste products to FundingFactory in exchange for cash. The Eastern Panhandle Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer-based organization that bolsters local emergency operations in times of disaster. The group also works on public health issues throughout the year.
EP-MRC hopes to utilize this funding to better achieve their mission of creating a ready, trained, and credentialed corps of volunteers to respond to emergencies and supplement public health resources.
Companies interested in demonstrating a commitment to emergency preparedness can participate free of charge in the FundingFactory Business Support Program. FundingFactory will send each supporting business FREE prepaid shipping labels for the return of collected cartridges, cell phones, small electronics, and laptops. By donating to the Eastern Panhandle Medical Reserve Corps, businesses help them achieve their mission.
Community and business supporters can also drop off cartridges, cell phones, small electronics and laptops at: 400 W. Stephen Street, Suite #204, Martinsburg.
