The annual Back Alley Garden Tour and Tea was a huge success as visitors enjoyed sunny skies and beautiful gardens throughout the day. Tea was served at the War Memorial Building where even a birthday or two were celebrated. Shown in one of these photos from the day are birthday boys Nathan Howard, 17 and Clifford Branson, 79. Homeowners all over town showed their gardens which were in pristine condition. Flowers, vegetables, water and rocks were all part of the magic. As a bonus, folks were able to visit the Thomas Shepherd Grist Mill and see the wheel in motion. All in all, more than a successful day!
