Meda C. Badeaux, 93 of Bradenton, Fla. and formerly of Shepherdstown, passed away on June 6, 2012. She was born in Shepherdstown to the late Rezin Kearney Cross and Betty Sutton Cross and moved to the Bradenton area in 1983.

She was a graduate of Shepherd College.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Joyce Bone of Bradenton. She was also receded in death by her husband Emile P. Badeaux who died June 22, 1990 and son, Steven Kearney Badeaux.

Graveside services were held at the Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown on Wednesday, June 13, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. DeeAnn Dixon officiating.
