Sam Michael’s Park is the location for this Saturday’s outdoor movie night. The second annual big screen movie night at the park will feature the ever-popular ‘Wizard of Oz.’ Feel the excitement of seeing the 1939 classic on the big screen during this free event sponsored by the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation.

Popcorn, candy and drinks will be for sale in the concession stand. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for the show which is set to begin at approximately 8:45 p.m. While there is no cost to attend, the Parks and Recreation would appreciate those planning to attend signing in at www.jcprc.org so that they can determine the popularity of the movie nights.

The park is located at 235 Sam Michael’s Lane in Shenandoah Junction. Be advised that no alcohol, pets or glass containers are permitted.
