Join in Hot Monkey’s Big Chili Cook-off to be held Saturday, Sept. 1 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Shepherdstown Train Station. The event is organized by Team Faith Committee members who are the family and supporters of Faith, a Shepherdtown 16-year-old with cystic fibrosis. The disease is a fatal, genetic disease.

Sample dozes of kinds of chili and beverages at the fundraising event. Admission is only $8 with up to 96 percent of the money raised going to research toward a cure for systic fibrosis. Baked goods, t-shirts and raffles will also be available for purchase.
