OOH offers Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Based on the popular 1988 film, starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine, this musical comedy centers on two con men living on the French Riviera. One is suave and sophisticated and the other is a small-time crook. After a chance meeting and an unsuccessfully attempt to work together, they agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young, beautiful heiress wins and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues, that will keep you laughing, humming and guessing to the end!
The Old Opera House in Charles Town offers showings of this fabulous play Sept. 6-9 and 13-16.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is directed and choreographed by Susan Thornton with musical direction by Charles Johnson, the same creative team that brought My Fair Lady to the Old Opera House stage last season.
