Outdoor movie night to feature ‘Hugo’

Morgan’s Grove Park will transform into an outdoor movie theater on August 24 as the Shepherdstown Community Club and Jefferson County Parks and Recreation offer a showing of ‘Hugo.’ The film, set in 1930s Paris, features an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.

Those wishing to enjoy the big screen movie night are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase in the concession stand at the park. The movie is shown at no cost. Attendees are reminded that no alcohol, pets or glass containers will be allowed at the movie. The showing will being at approximately 8:45 p.m.
