Author and publisher Lauren Carr will discuss some of the surprising stories behind some of the greatest story ideas in successful books, the difference between a great story idea and a bad one, and how a writer can take the germ of an idea and turn it into their own great book in her two-hour presentation entitled: Where Did That Come From: Story Ideas at the Four Seasons Book Store in Shepherdstown on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. Four Seasons Book Store is located at 116 German Street.

On Sunday, Nov. 4, Carr will repeat the presentation at the Saint Andrews Mountain Community Center on Mission Road in Shannondale at 2 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public. Lauren Carr’s mysteries will be available for sale at a book signing event after the presentation.
