Poetry night at the Blue Moon
An evening of poetry centered on the Common Reading, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, will take place next Monday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Blue Moon Restaurant. There is no cost to attend and there is no age restriction. Faculty, staff, students and community members are encouraged to attend. This is an open mike event and anyone can read their own work or works by other people that relate to topics within The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. This event is co-sponsored by the Common Reading Program and Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honor Society.
