Shepherd to be represented at West Virginia Higher Education Technology Conference
Shepherd University’s Lauryl Lewis, instructional technologist, will present her paper “The Fundamental Foundations of Structuring an Online Teaching and Learning Environment” at the West Virginia Higher Education Technology Conference on Nov. 12-13 in Morgantown.
The conference focuses on technology in higher education and will feature experts in the field from throughout the state. Lewis’s presentation highlights the new online certification course, which more than 30 Shepherd faculty members have completed. It will also showcase Shepherd’s ground-breaking use of the Sakai Learning Management System.
