The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor a program entitled “Winter Birds in Your Backyard” the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The program will be held at 7 p.m. at the National Conservation Training Center outside Shepherdstown, in Room 103 of the Instructional East Building. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

The program will be presented by Master Naturalists Carol Del-Colle and Kathryn Henry. They will provide tips on such topics as which feeders and seeds will attract which birds and how to prepare feeders before filling them for the season. They will also help identify bird species likely to be seen in backyards in this area during the winter.
