The Jefferson County Parks and Recreation invite all youngsters to come join Santa Claus for lunch this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the county Community Center at Sam Michael’s Park.

The event offers an opportunity not only to enjoy lunch with Santa but to have a photo taken with him as well.

Santa will make a grand entrance this year as the members of Bakerton Fire Department deliver him to the door of the community center via their fire truck.

In addition to lunch and photos, children will have the opportunity to make a craft and play at the center.

Additional keepsake photos will be available for parents to purchase and parents may also purchase meals at the event.

Cost for each child is $10. Call 304-728-3207 to reserve a spot or receive more information about the annual event. Walk-ins are welcome; however, so do not be swayed from attending if reservations were not made. Santa enjoys seeing all the children of the community!
