Relay for Life of Jefferson County will kick off with a Chili Cook-off and meeting on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 2-5 p.m. at the Ranson Civic Center. As part of the kick-off to the Relay season, cancer awareness information will be provided as well as Relay for Life team and event information. There will be games and activities for all ages.

The chili cook-off is open to all. Please submit interst and type of chili to Abbie at abjery@aol.com by Jan. 10. There is a fee of $7 to enter a pot of chili and a fee of $5 to taste all chili entered. Each pot will be judged.
