Third in Lunch and Learn series
The third Brown Bag Lunch and Learn seminar for Envision Jefferson 2035 will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Jefferson County Commission Meeting Room, located in the basement of the Old Charles Town Library at 200 East Washington Street. Use the side entrance being on Samuel Street.
The seminar will focus on the role of Parks and Recreation in Jefferson County. Scheduled speakers for the seminar are Jennifer Myers from Jefferson County Parks and Recreation, Jimmy Pierson from Ranson Parks and Recreation, Mark Wenger from the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and Lyn Widmyer from the Eastern Panhandle Trailblazers.
Feel free to bring lunch to eat while learning about the opportunities and challenges that face parks and recreation providers in Jefferson County.
