Audubon Society offering summer camp scholarships
The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is now accepting applications for its 2013 summer youth camp scholarship program. Each year, the program helps send deserving area youngsters to summer camps that emphasize conservation and the environment.
Scholarships are available not only for the Society’s own day camps in Berkeley and Jefferson counties but also for camps at other locations in West Virginia and as far away as Maine.
Any youngster within the Society’s membership area (the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and Washington County, Md.) is eligible to apply. All applications must be post-marked by April 5.
