Janice Louise Sigler, 71, of Martinsburg, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at City Hospital.

Born July 6, 1941, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late William H. Sigler and Hazel Mae (Leight) Sigler.

She attended First Baptist Church in Inwood.

Mrs. Sigler was a great cook and loved gardening.

She is survived by four sons, Curtis David, of Hedgesville, Craig, of Kentucky, Mark, of Kearneysville, and Ron, of North Carolina; one daughter, Donna, of Martinsburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Tomblin, of Berryville, Va., Linda Zelmer, of Seattle, Wash., and Carolyn Moomaw, of Winchester, Va.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Devin Ward officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
