By Staff | Feb 15, 2013

Leonard Cohen fans are in for a treat on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. Reynolds Hall at Shepherd University is the place to be for a musical retrospective of Cohen’s work spanning more than 40 years.

The concert’s name — ” Little Wild Bouquet” is a phrase from Cohen’s song Democracy and “aptly fits the collection of musicians and material,” says musical director, Hank Goldstein.

The Little Wild Bouquet ensemble includes some exceptional local musicians who are fans of Cohen’s music. The concert is a fundraiser for Wisdom Spring, a foundation that builds well in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Tickets are available at the door for donation of $12. For more info on Wisdom Spring and the musicians in the Little Wild Bouquet Ensemble, see Facebook: the Little Wild Bouquet or email LittleWildBouquet@gmail.com.
