Event to benefit Alternative Spring Break Trip

By Staff | Mar 11, 2013

For those who enjoy big band music, wine and cheese, this event is a must. On March 9 at 5 p.m., the Shepherdstown Community Club will host an evening to benefit Shepherd University students who are participating in this year’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Trip.

These students are raising funds to cover the cost of their trip where they will be volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. The club is sponsoring an evening of big band music by the Market Street Big Band from Frederick, Md. and specialized cheese selections presented by Chef Scott Anderson, Associate Director for Shepherd University Dining Services and ambassador to Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.

The cost is $15 per person. Reservations are not required. Must be 21 years or older to attend. Come enjoy wine, cheese and great music all for a great cause.
