Lunch and learn series continues

The 13th Brown Bag Lunch and Learn seminar for Envision Jefferson 2035 will be held on Wednesday, April 17, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Jefferson County Commission Meeting Room, located in the basement of the Charles Town Library at 200 East Washington Street.

The seminar will focus on the role of Public Safety in Jefferson County. Scheduled speakers for the seminar are: Barbara Miller, director of Jefferson County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management; Marty Freeman, treasurer of the Jefferson County Emergency Services Agency; Ron Fletcher, president of the Jefferson County Fire and Rescue Association; Jeff Polczynski, director of Jefferson County Emergency Communications; and Peter Dougherty, Jefferson County Sheriff.

Feel free to bring lunch to eat while learning about the opportunities and challenges relating to public safety in Jefferson County in the coming years.
