Donald Lee Barb, 72, of Shepherdstown, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at Heartland of Martinsburg.

Born Jan. 7, 1941, in Charles Town, he was the son of the late Thomas and Edna Delauder Barb.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Donald retired from the Millville Quarry in 2008, was member of the Charles Town Moose Lodge 948, and farmed most of his life at Molers Crossroads. He loved to travel and looked forward to fishing whenever he had time.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Kline Barb, at home; one daughter, Julie Barb Eldridge and husband, Bruce, of Shepherdstown; two grandchildren, Corey Barb and Ashley Eldridge, both of Shepherdstown; one sister, Ruth Ann Barb, of Shepherdstown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Barb II, in 1985; one brother, Walter Barb; two sisters, Janet Fraley and Joyce Tyson; and one nephew, Thomas Tyson.

Services will be private.
