Shepherd’s Martinsburg Center, City of Martinsburg sign Strategic Alliance agreement

Shepherd University’s Martinsburg Center and the City of Martinsburg formalized a Strategic Alliance Partnership Friday, June 14 at City Hall. Shepherd President Suzanne Shipley (front row, r.) joined Mayor George Karos for the signing. Also attending the signing were Kimberly Scranage, vice president for enrollment management, Dr. Diane Melby, vice president for advancement, and James Klein, director of the Martinsburg Center. The Martinsburg Center’s Strategic Alliance Partnership program, which allows in-state and out-of-state students to take classes with savings up to 25 percent off the current tuition at no cost to the employer. Employees of the City of Martinsburg will be eligible for the discounted tuition through the signed agreement.
