Gracie Louise Cato Cohen, 92, passed away peacefully June 14, 2013, at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown.

She was born in Meridian, Miss., Nov. 30, 1920, to the late Lucy and Henry Cato.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Cato; and two sisters, Mae Cline and Billie Morgan.

She was married to the late William Lewis Cohen, and spent her childhood and adult life in Concord, N.C.

Louise worked in the family business with her husband. Together they owned and operated The Portrait Shop in Concord for 50 years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and volunteered for the March of Dimes.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gibson of Concord, and Candy Reid of Martinsburg; five grandchildren, Tara Johnson of Concord, Bill Gibson of Kannapolis, N.C., and Thad, Trent, and Tristen Reid of Martinsburg; and three great-granddaughters, Grace and Savannah Johnson of Concord; and Madison Gibson of Kannapolis.
