James Hite Park dedicated

Jefferson County Parks and Recreation welcomed Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin to a groundbreaking ceremony for James Hite Park, their newest park facility. The 119-acre park, located off of Hite Road, will offer soccer fields, a football field, baseball and softball fields, a dog park, playground, walking trails and more. On hand for the official ceremony were members of the local Legislative delegation, park staffers and Parks and Recreation board members as well as members of the public.
