The Shepherdstown Community Club will host its annual Labor Day picnic on Monday, Sept. 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Morgan’s Grove Park.

Come to the park and enjoy grilled burgers from Danny Rohrer Meats as well as hot dogs, sodas, chips and salsa, corn on the cob, ice cream bars and popsicles. If possible, bring a dish to share. There will be a nominal fee for the burgers and hot dogs for non-members to help cover costs. Members of the Community Club will not be charged.

An added treat this year will be a community art show of the works of local artists from Shepherdstown and neighboring areas. Attendees can enjoy the works and possibly add to their home art collections.

The famous and historic Rohrersville Band will play at the picnic as well as other live music to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Bring friends and share good food; meet neighbors and relax in the beautiful community park.
