Obituary Wilt
James Leon Wilt, 51, of Kearneysville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at his residence.
Born Feb. 24, 1962, in Ranson, he was the son of Thelma Hardy Wilt and the late Danny E. Wilt Sr.
He was of the Christian faith.
James loved people and enjoyed helping his neighbors, never asking for anything in return.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Tina Wilt, at home; two daughters, Jessica Elwart, of Charles Town and Jennifer Hose and husband, Cleal, of Summit Point; one son, Jessie Ince, of Summit Point; five sisters, Linda Wellman and husband, Wayne, and Rebecca Long, all of Kearneysville, Brenda Jones and husband, Keith, of Millville, Jacqueline Moreno, of Kearneysville and Sheena Daniels and husband, Allen, of New Windsor, Md.; three brothers, Danny Jr. and Joseph Wilt, both of Kearneysville, and Walter Wilt and wife, Shawn, of Harpers Ferry; 17 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the Eackles- Spencer & Norton Funeral Home. Pastor Derick Amsler and Pastor Benny Hardy officiated.
