Shepherdstown School of Music

The new Shepherdstown School of Music is beginning its first session of music courses started

Monday, Aug. 26. Located at 106 S. Duke St. Shepherdstown, the school offers music classes and private music lessons on a variety of instruments and subjects.

Some of the classes starting this week are Ukelele Class, Music Composition, Jazz Theory and

Improvisation, Beginning Piano Class, Singing and Songwriting, Electronic Music and more. The

complete listing of classes with descriptions and schedule can be found on the website, home.shepherdstownmusic.com, and on the facebook page under the school’s name.

The school is being started by Sam Jannotta, a local jazz piano player, and Cam Millar, a local

music educator and trombone player. The goal of the school is to cultivate musicality and creativity in its students and foster a more vibrant musical community. For more information email Sam at sam@shepherdstownmusic.com.
